GREAT prenatal massages!
By Carola B | September 22, 2009
I was lucky enough to have recieved a $50 SF gift card at my baby shower
this Saturday. I came in for my massage today (Tuesday) and was
pleasantly surprised that my first massage experience was so wonderful.
The woman who massaged me was very thorough and worked hard on all of my
problem areas. She wasn't overly talkative and just let me enjoy the
smooth motions of her hands. She was very informative about the
differences between prenatal massages and normal massages and what her
limitations were. The atmosphere was quite relaxing and I dozed off
frequently throughout my massage. I feel so relaxed and pampered.
Definitely go here, especially if you've never had a massage before.
I
expected a spa to be full of snotty women (especially in Alamo Heights)
but both ladies I dealt with were very down to earth and comforting.
Excellent services
By Narina | November 27, 2008
I have been to several spas. Many of them costing several times more
than this one. However, I always found the service to be stuffy, cold,
and spa treatments to be mediocre at best. Terraspa has a friendly staff
that is warm and welcoming. They do their best to accomodate every
request. One of my pet peeves is a weak massage. At terraspa, I choose
my favorite therapists and get a deep, strong, massage that breaks down
all the stress, fatigue, and aches I might have. Their treatments are
fabulous, and you can see and feel results immediately. These are not
typical treatments using typical products that you can purchase and do
at home. These are handmade, fresh, customer specific treatments. Using
organic oils, herbs, etc the treatments work better, are good for you,
and good for the environment. I do prefer their newer location in Alamo
heights vs. the other location, simply because the decor is newer and
more relaxing, in my opinion. I would never again, go anywhere else! I
recommend everyone try: aromatherapy massage, gold or rooibos facial,
and a dead sea salt scrub treatment. If you need to lose inches fast,
try the body wrap for inch loss. I use it before every special occasion
when I want to look a little slimmer.
New alamo heights location for Terra Spa is great!
By NY2008TX | August 2, 2008
I love having a Spa Day. The new Alamo Heights location for Terra Spa is
great, close to my office, but a true escape from my tension filled day.
My services were the best I have experienced in all my traveling for
business (at some of the best in the USA). The friendly staff make it my
kind of place, there is nothing pretentious about this place.
Thanks to a dear friend who sent me a Spafinder GC

Thanks to a dear friend who sent me a Spafinder GC, I was able to try
out this lovely spa...The spa is a easy to find by the San Antonio
Airport-not far from Northstar Mall. The spa is nicely decorated in
calming earth tones. I called for a package that I saw online and was
able to book an appointment within a couple of days. My package included
the Rooibus red tea facial (amazing-to die for), signature foot
treatment and Japanese Hot Stone Massage. I was greeted nicely upon my
arrival, the staff are really relaxing not stuffy and uptight, like you
normally find in a spa.
